Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries announced the price of Fukushima rice rised by 20% in this September compared to September. 2011. (Arm’s length price of shipment supplier and wholesaler)
The brand name is “Hitomebore”. It was the first announcement of rice price in 2012.
The average price was also raised by 10% all around in Japan.
According to MAFF, it was because the shipment supplier such as Japan Agricultural Cooperatives increased cargo booking to make more advance payment to the farmers.

Il Ministero dell’Agricoltura, delle Foreste e della Pesca ha annunciato che il prezzo del riso di Fukushima è aumentato del 20% questo settembre rispetto a settembre 2011 (secondo un accordo tra gli spedizionieri e i grossisti).
La marca è “Hitomebore”. E’ stato il primo annuncio sul prezzo del riso nel 2012.
Anche il prezzo medio è stato alzato del 10% in tutto il Giappone.
Secondo il MAFP la causa è da ricercare nelle società di spedizioni come le Cooperative di Agricoltura Giapponese che hanno aumentato le prenotazioni di merce per aumentare i pagamenti anticipati agli agricoltori.

They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
