Iodine131 measured for 67% in Yamanashi, “2400 Bq/Kg on 8/16/2012”

Iodine 131 is measured from sewage sludge in Yamanashi prefecture. (295km from Fukushima plant)

From April to September, they tested sewage sludge monthly at 4 sewage plants.

In the 24 tests, they measured Iodine 131 for 16 times. (66.7%)

The highest reading was 2400 Bq/Kg on 8/16/2012, the second highest reading was 1200 Bq/Kg on 9/20/2012.

De l’iode 131 a été relevé dans des boues d’épuration dans la préfecture d’Yamanashi. (à 295 km de la centrale de Fukushima)
D’avril à septembre, ils ont testé mensuellement les boues d’égouts de 4 stations d’épuration.
Sur les 24 tests, ils ont relevé 16 fois de l’iode 131. (66,7 %)
Le plus haut relevé a été de 2 400 Bq/kg le 16 août 2012, le suivant a été de 1 200 Bq/kg le 20 septembre 2012.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
