4,900 Bq/ Kg from dried Chinese mushroom of Fukushima

Fukushima local government is still trying to sell chinese mushroom for some reason.

Luckily, 5 samples are measured excessive amount of cesium. They were not supposed to be distributed to the market.

Fukushima local government collected 11 samples from 10 cities and towns and analyzed them.

The results include 5 samples of 11 had 1,000 ~ 4,900 Bq/Kg. They were from Shirakawa, Nihonmatsu, Motomiya and Tanakura.

They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
