Sea contamination of Strontium is becoming serious.

From the press release of Tepco, even though it’s after their manipulation,data shows sea contamination is in the serious situation.

About the intake of reactor 1~4,they measured


Strontium 89 ; 200 Bq/ Kg
Strontium 90 ; 250 Bq/ Kg

Even in the area,they measure Strontium from the ground.

500 m of North west from the reactors ; 180 Bq/Kg
500 m of South west from the reactors ; 200 Bq/Kg

Strontium 90
500 m of North west from the reactors ; 250 Bq/Kg
500 m of South west from the reactors ; 320 Bq/Kg

It’s rational the area is also full of plutonium and uranium.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
