Following up this article..Reactor 2 went over 100℃ again
Tepco asserted the heating gauge attached to the bottom of container vessel is broken on 2/16/2012, they decided to pick up one of the left 2 heating gauges.
However, even the “right” heating gauge has started betraying Tepco.
Since they started decreasing the water amount on 2/19, it’s been showing the temperature increasing like the top part of the container vessel.
Now it’s 49.5℃ at the moment of 17:00 2/23/2012.
The other heating gauge is showing, 37.1℃, which is different from the other one by 12℃.
Tepco still hasn’t found out what is causing this temperature gap.
