Sadly enough quite expected for those who have been following the attitude of denial of the Japanese government. Last winter I began buying Japanese ramen for soups, this winter I am having not a single noodle. All we know about Japanese products is that we can’t trust them anymore to be free from radiation. I am also concerned about US-Canadian ones. I’m trying to buy local or from the Tropics/Southern Hemisphere, which are less likely to be contaminated with radiation. And I truly hope that nothing happens in the two years that our local nuclear power plant, built with the same design as Fukushima (but just one reactor), will still be working.
