Japanese professor “Thyroid cancer rate of Fukushima children is already up to 40 times much as normal”

Professor. Tsuda from Okayama University commented the thyroid cancer rate of Fukushima children is already 1.65 ~ 40 times much as normal.

 

From 1975 to 2008, thyroid cancer rate among children 15 ~ 19 years old was only 5 in a million.

Based on Fukushima prefectural government’s own survey, the current thyroid cancer rate is already 40.8 times much as normal in Nihonmatsu city. It’s also 27.9 times much as normal in Koriyama city.

 

After Fukushima accident, thyroid test is not implemented outside of Fukushima. It’s not implemented for adults even in Fukushima prefecture.

Matsumoto city mayor, Sugenoya, who was involved in the medical support in Belarus for Chernobyl, comments thyroid cancer was transferred to lungs in Chernobyl. Especially adult’s thyroid cancer were often transferred to brain and bone.

    The Chernobyl thyroid cancer spike was statistically notable after 4 years. The Fukushima thyroid spike is apparently much worse.

  2. Yes, thryoid cancer due to radiation shows up in lungs. My daughter, exposed to Chernobyl (we all were) has cancer outside the thryoid, showing in the lungs. In fact, her first scans showed her lungs lighted up by the contrast. Its controlled by radiation treatment every year IF she can handle it. Of course, the potential is bladder cancer and leukemia, but likely not until she reaches 50 yrs of age. Or we hope. A second daughter is also facing the same issues, but is just being diagnosed. And of course, immune disease is what we all have as well.

  3. I’ve watched this tragedy progress from day one, being careful about sourcing clean food and water for loved ones. Spent time trying to inform family and friends as well as others I find myself in the company of, in a non alarming manner.
    Trying to do the right thing.
    It was my birthday the other week. Went to the doctor with pains in my gut. He said..

    .”you got salmonella poisoning, boy. “Just hop up on the bench and I’ll just check your stomach”

    So what do you give a guy on his birthday who has salmonella?

    Bloody cancer. Go figure.

    But Sorry to bore you, this isn’t about me. I got the best of care in a good hospital, lots of meds and made it back home to my own bed, where I’m writing this now.

    I’m thinking with new dread about the reality of many many tumours growing right now across the planet in perhaps millions of humans (and innocence creatures) who won’t have appropriate care as the medical industry strains at the seams and finally crashes, faced with the ever growing health issues coming their way. What will happen then?

    Cancer is not just a word that we read here……Its a world of scans, probes, scalpels, needles, catheters, drips, convulsive pain, immobility and high dependance.
    You kind of don’t appreciate that until you’re flat on your back and the thing you need is just 3″ out of your reach and you just can’t move enough to reach it.

    Recovery requires a network of doctors, nurses, carers, specialists, gathered friends and loved ones. What will happen when everyone is sick?

      It saddens me to ask what happens to the chemical messanging signal which represses the growth of other tumors when that signal is removed? If i remember correctly, it stimulates angiogenesis (the stimulated growth of new blood vessels) feeding other tumors if present.

      Banged my head against the wall every time i lost a relative and they refused to look at thalidimide in relation to cancer treatment, but there it is – that same substance that caused so much grief to so many new mothers decades ago.

      I hate that so many good people are left to suffer now.
      Research this further for your own sakes.
      I hope you get all the proper Medical treatment you need post-op.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
