4 children diagnosed thyroid abnormality only with visual inspection and palpation without ultrasound in Abiko city

Doctors found thyroid abnormality among children only by visual inspection and palpation in Chiba.


Last September, Abiko city in Chiba announced they implemented thyroid test in elementary school and junior high school with the help of the local medical association.

4 of them were diagnosed to have thyroid abnormality that requires detailed inspection or medication among 10,351 testees.


Before 311, thyroid cancer rate was only 5 in a million in Japan. If one of these 4 students has thyroid cancer, it’s beyond the average rate. More importantly, the abnormalities of these 4 students were found only by the basic inspection, not even with ultrasound scan.

Dans la commune d’Abiko, les anomalies thyroïdiennes de 4 enfants diagnostiquées sans échographie, à l’examen visuel et palpation


Dans Chiba et sur des enfants, des médecins ont découvert quatre anomalies thyroïdiennes en n’utilisant que l’examen visuel et les palpations.

En septembre dernier, la commune d’Abiko de la préfecture de Chiba avait déclaré qu’ils procédaient à des examens de la thyroïde sur les enfants du primaire et du secondaire avec l’aide d’une association médicale locale.
Sur les 10 351 examinés, 4 d’entre eux ont été diagnostiqués porteurs d’anomalies de la thyroïde nécessitant un examen approfondi et un traitement.

Au Japon, avant le 11-3, la prévalence du cancer de la thyroïde était de 5 cas pour un million.  Si un de ces 4 élèves a un cancers de la thyroïde, ça dépasse la moyenne. Plus important, Les anomalies de ces 4 élèves ont été découvertes par examen de base, même pas avec une échographie.

This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
