Following up this article..[Reactor4] Tepco will not announce when to take out the fuel from SFP4
Though Tepco was concealing the specific data to take out the new assemblies, TBS reported it will be 7/18/2012 (JST).
Actual Fukushima worker Happy11311 commented it may take up to 2 days.

Usually it takes 1 day to lift up 2 fuel assemblies, but they need to be extraordinarily careful this time, so it might take them 2 days. I guess they will start it on 7/19 if they take 1 day, will start it on 7/18 if they take 2 days.

7/20 may be the spare day in case of rain. and they will restart Ohi unit4 on 7/18 and 7/19. Even now, sometimes Japanese government double-book their plans in Fukushima plant with something else. I suspect it’s to distract mass media and people or not..

Whatever, I can’t understand why they have to conceal the date to take out the fuel assemblies “for the protection of nuclear material”. It’s been a while since Tepco allowed them to approach Fukushima plant out of 3 km diameter. There are no covers above reactor3 and 4 so anyone can see everything from the sky. If they want to prevent terrorism from happening, a division of army, navy and air force need to be stationed.

The reason why they don’t take out the fuel assemblies during the weekend,,Probably politicians and government officials are going to come to see this time, and maybe IAEA might come because nuclear fuel is involved. When public officers are involved, it’s always weekday.

We don’t even know the state of fuel debris and inside of vessels yet, we haven’t even reached the starting point of decommissioning the nuclear reactors.
