Because the SFP of reactor 4 is in crisis, we have paid all of our attention to reactor 4, but the FPC skimmer surge tank level of reactor 3 is very unstable according to the report of Tepco.
At 5:00 1/4/2012, FPC skimmer surge tank level was 7,350 mm.
However, at 11:00 1/4/2012, it dropped down to 5,240 mm.
Since then, it keeps decreasing.
None of the announcement is given from Tepco or Japanese government about it.
1) Though it was 7,350 mm on 1/1/2012, it’s dropped to 2,980 mm on 1/10/2012.
2) Though there was a huge gap between 4,810 mm (1/5/2012) and 2,510 mm (1/8/2012), they skipped updating the data on 1/6 and 1/7.
3) Cesium increased by 3 times as much as usual at intake of reactor 3 on 1/5/2012. (Source)
4) According to the definition of FPC skimmer surge tank level on the report, there is no gauge to tell the actual water level, they only assume the number from other “data”.
There are still too much to investigate.
