Mr. Oyama,  the city mayor of Hidaka shi attended at the incineration test of Taiheiyo cement corporation 2 days before he was hospitalized.

It was a demonstration to show how safe it is to incinerate disaster debris. Taiheiyo cement is to recycle the disaster debris.

At this demonstration, Mr. Oyama and other 38 staff was shown the radiation level outside of the container with disaster debris as woodchip. Tokyo newspaper reports, they confirmed the radiation level outside of the container was lower than a safety limit, they said oh and Mr. Oyama nodded big.

They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
