Mr. Osawa, Hidaka city mayor of Saitama was hospitalized in cardiac or respiratory arrest on 3/27/2012 as well.
In PM of 3/28/2012, he still remains unconscious.
According to Personnel Affairs Division, City government’s staff knocked on the door but had no reply, then entered his office to find him unconscious in his chair around at 14:20 of 3/27/2012. He was already in cardiac or respiratory arrest.
Mayor regained spontaneous breathing and heart beat but still has no consciousness. The name of the disease is not known.
大沢・日高市長：執務中倒れ、意識不明 ／埼玉
日高市は２８日、大沢幸夫市長（７３）が２７日に心肺停止状態で倒れ、同市内の埼玉医大国際医療センターに緊急入院したと発表した。２８日午後も意識不明の状態が続いている。３１日までは勝村直久副市長が、４月１日から当分は谷ケ崎照雄・新副市長が、市長職務代理者を務める。
市秘書課によると、市長は２７日午後２時２０分ごろ、執務室で椅子に座ったまま意識を失い、心肺停止状態になっていた。ドアをノックしたが応答がなく、市職員が入室して見つけた。心臓マッサージなどをする一方で救急車を呼んだという。
市長は治療を受けて自発呼吸と心拍を回復したが、意識は回復していない。病名は不明としている。
大沢氏は０６年１月に市長初当選。現在は２期目。【高木昭午】
