Tepco tried to open a hole to look inside of the torus room of reactor2.
Torus room is where S/C is located. S/C is the coolant facility of nuclear reactor shaped like a donut.
They assume Reactor2 had S/C damaged after 311, so it is important to look into torus room.
Fractured nuclear fuel might be in it.
After all, Tepco failed in it. They commented, “Pipes and gratings were in the way, where they shouldn’t have been. It’s different from the map.” (cf, [Unanticipated] Tepco failed in investigating the torus room of reactor2 “Different from the map” [Link])
The map was probably made in 60s or 70s. Tepco hasn’t even announced when it was made.
Anyway, it turned out that Tepco doesn’t even understand the inside of the reactors.
Nuclear was called “dream technology”. Still some people believe so. and since 311, Tepco has been commenting everything was under control, they have the clearest grasp of the situation.
Actually they do not know anything.
Tepco is like a driver. They have the basic technic to drive but they don’t know the mechanism of engine, they don’t know how to dismantle it.
It is estimated that decommissioning of Fukushima plant takes more 38 years. This is an estimate of the government so it may take even longer.
Probably Tepco should not be in charge of decommissioning. They don’t even know the details of the inside of the torus room. Financially and technically, it is obvious that Tepco can’t handle it.
Since the very beginning of 311, it has been obvious that Tepco can’t handle everything only by themselves.
It seems like they have to hide something so they are not forward in asking for more international help.
The destiny of the entire world is in the hand of the amateur driver, Tepco.

Tepco a essayé d’ouvrir un trou pour regarder l’intérieur de la salle du tore du réacteur 2.
La salle du Tore est là où se trouve le S/C. Le S/C est l’appareillage de refroidissement en forme de donut dans un réacteur nucléaire.
Ils pensent que le S/C du réacteur 2 a été endommagé après le 11-3, donc il est important d’aller voir dans la salle du tore.
Il peut y avoir du combustible fondu dedans.
Au final, Tepco a échoué. Ils disent qu”il y avait “des tuyaux et des grillages en travers du trajet, qu’ils n’auraient pas du se trouver là, que ce n’est pas comme sur le plan.” (cf. Le plan date probablement des années 60 ou 70. ne l’a même pas précisé.
De toute façon, ça montre que Tepco ne comprend même pas l’intérieur de ses réacteurs.
Le nucléaire était appelé une “technologie de rêve”. Il y a toujours des gens pour le croire, et depuis le 11 mars, Tepco a toujours dit que tout était sous contrôle, qu’ils ont la situation parfaitement en mains.
En fait, ils n’en savent rien.
Tepco est comme un chauffeur. Ils ont les connaissances de base mais ils ne savent pas comment marche la machine, ils ne savent pas comment elle se démonte.
On estime que le démantèlement de la centrale de Fukushima va prendre encore 38 ans. C’est une estimation du gouvernement, donc ça pourra prendre bien plus de temps.
Sans doute que Tepco ne devrait pas être en charge du démantèlement. Ils ne connaissent même pas les détails de l’intérieur de la salle du tore. Financièrement et techniquement, il est évident que Tepco n’est pas capable de l’assumer.
Depuis le tout début du 11-3, il a toujours été évident que Tepco ne peut rien faire par elle-même seulement.
On dirait qu’ils ont quelque chose à cacher et que c’est pour ça qu’ils refusent toute aide internationale.
La destinée du monde entier est entre les mains d’un apprenti-chauffeur, Tepco.

since they made the bottom of the Retaining vessel of a material that melts at lower temps than the Corium ( instead lining the botttom with Space Shuttle heat protecting Tiles that wistand over 1,200 C OR/AND pre-drill a kilometer deep wide hole where the Corium can be dropped and covered ) ,
and since they built the whole complex on the edge of the ocean instead up that hill BEHIND , on and on …
