[Unanticipated] Tepco failed in investigating the torus room of reactor2 “Different from the map”

From 1/27 to 1/28/2013, Tepco opened a hole (Diameter 300) on the top of the torus room of reactor2.
The purpose was to investigate inside of the torus room with thermometer, dosimeter and camera for potential fractured fuel.

However, they failed inserting the equipment because of the pipes and grating that were not expected to be there.

Tepco comments there shouldn’t have been the pipes and grating at that point, according to the map.
Tepco does not even understand the exact details of Fukushima nuclear plant.

  1. If their plant diagrams are not accurate, this does not bode well for the deteriorating situation that I am certain is happening with all three reactors. There is no excuse for inaccurate drawings, particularly a Nuclear power plant.

  2. I’m sure they’ll put their new orifice to use somehow after they use it to release a bit more of their funky stuff to kill off any animals or their human rescuers who might be in the area “stealing TEPCO’s radioactive products being found in great quantity in the rescued animals & carcasses AKA “evidence” conveniently stored in living creatures among other things while the new holes can still then be used to flush more corium into the sea like they’ve probably been doing all along anyway…I bet there WAS people (alive?) before 3/11 or among the original “Fukushima 50” who knew the layout of the plant & would’ve known the obstacles were there-but by now they’re probably already part of the new Japanese supply of “Soylent(glowing) Green” although the rejected Fukushima Skilled Veteran’s Worker Corps probably has members who knew about the potential problem existing if they’d have been accepted & allowed to perform the very honorable actions & dangerous tasks they offered of themselves rather than sacrificing the young with the fate of Japan & the world seeming now to be in the hands of incompetent or at least “unkowledgable” about the unique characteristics of Fukushima and the non-standard,”played by ear” engineering & construction of each & every NPP & regardless of the systems employed no two facilities are alike and the high radiation levels for the rookie workers reaches WAY beyond their bodies lifetime exposure limits WAY before they learn the little quirks that make Fukushima different than any other nuclear facility than anyplace they may have worked before taking on this lousy job where they will almost certainly die sooner than whatever limited successes or knowledge gained was unlikely to have been worth the sacrifice of their lives for little to no gain except for those who used them to brave the danger to make it appear actual “work” towards solving the problems or even reducing the radiation in any meaningful way?! Just to make TEPCO & JapanGOV look good??!!-Hiding what might have been found in the air by flushing more of it into the water table & sea is not the answer!!

About this site

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
