Fukushima kid’s letter to himself in 10 years “Are you alive ?”

A Japanese freelance journalist tweeted like these below,

It’s far from being usual that a Fukushima elementary school child writes a letter to himself in 10 years, “Are you alive ?”. This is a land insane. What’s that slogan of Democratic party “Life of the people is the highest priority.”. Stop joking.

(What is the source ?) The documentary DVD of the elementary school children temporarily evacuated to Nakatsugawa city Gifu (CBC). I borrowed it from my interviewee. It makes me cry.

        Hi,

I am french. “Nuclear disaster will never happen to us, they all say here. I ask them if they know what a millisievert is, they say no. And the iodine… what ? Don’t “psychote” ! “Take care about your communication, you seem to be afraid !”, my brother said.

I think you live in what should now be a “nuclear desert”. Maybe I live in a future nuclear desert.

Just make all what you can to escape, to live in a territory under 1msv/year, to save your lives, to get hope again. Love can make miracles. Escape, quickly ! Go to another country, if you have to. It is hard to say, but it is your only solution. People of Tchernobyl must still escape, too. You all must be helped to escape.

I want to help you and I collect some money in an operation called “ATOMAMI, red coins operation”, red like uranium… Please answer me. I need speaking with people “who know”…

        Friendly,

        Juliette.

    That is messed up.

  3. The journalist notes that he lives in an insane land. To be fair – we all do. Especially we living in the “democratic” west.

By now there are fewer and fewer who cannot have seen that something is wrong. If not the majority, more and more of us know full well that the 11th September was NOT what our “authorities” told us. Yet despite HARD evidence (like nano thermate in the dust from the three “collapsed” towers), none of us is willing, none of us dares to stand up to our national governments and a) demand a truly independent criminal investigation b) demand that Richard Gage and his nearly 2000 architects and engineers both get and are obliged to have their “day in Court”, and c) that our governments insist on the rule of Law, including but not limited to the prohibition of torture and the guarantee of habeus corpus.

Sadly we are each of us too afraid for our own individual positions, it would seem (jobs, family, wealth), and we have moved into a world where there would appear to be an elite hell bent on killing us (to reduce the population): for whom the eleventh of September was but a beginning, whose power spans hundreds if not thousands of years, and who govern the rest of us mere mortals like they were the gods they themselves believe they be. We are being farmed, as though we were sheep.

Yes it is truly an insane world. Yet we have chosen the way ourselves, by running from truth. As speaks the Gospel of John “And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.”

Yet because we know there is evil, but nevertheless refuse to admit its existence because we are afraid, we have ever more the cause to be afraid – not from an angry God (though He well might so be)…. but because what we fear is happening, and are too timid to challenge it: the destruction of our world, our homes and our future. We ourselves consent!

That is insanity. It is time we stuck together, and faced the monster is devouring us. Fukushima is in my opinion, only the start.

    Hi,
I was wondering about the title above (“Fukushima kid’s letter…”). Is there a longer article behind this post here on your blog? I am interested in reading it if there is. Can you direct me to it if it exists?
    Thanks
