Settlement report 7/6~7/8 2

Thank you very much for your support as always. I’m a little worried because it’s been slow since the beginning of this month. Please don’t forget me !

Since I came to Canada, situations have changed in Japan. Before and after June.

  1. Less topic about food contamination.
  2. Less topic about black substance.
  3. Less topic about debris.
  4. More and more about protest.
  5. Restart of nuclear plants.
  6. More troubles in SFP4.

About 1 ~ 2, it’s not because it was solved. It’s because we already know enough. It’s still going on and nothing’s improved.

and there is the strong connection about 3 and 4. 3 was the prologue of 4. There were small but very intense protest against accepting debris. As a result, citizens lost. and now, we are about to lose in the bigger scale again. It’s stepping up to the next stage. We are going to see it soon.

5 is stepping up to the next step as well. They have just restarted Ohi nuclear plant. and they are going to restart Monju, fast-breeder reactor. Kepco closed 2 steam power plant, which means, the restart of Ohi was not for the shortage of power. They are hasting for something, but still we are not sure what it is.

6 is actually the biggest issue. As I keep posting, all the parts are provisional. The burnt UPS is actually for computer servers, and it can’t be used to nuclear plant. That kind of accidents will happen more and more. There will be typhoons. I personally think SPF4 will be in one of the crisises in this summer.

A tweet caught my attention. The person is in Tsukuba, Ibaraki.

<Translate>

Well, there hasn’t been any earthquake report since 20:34 of yesterday, but the house has been all shaken. What is that ? Is the ground slowly moving ?

<End>

<Translate>

(Isn’t it vertigo or an irregular pulse ?) No no, the water surface in the cup and mike are shaking too.

<End>

<Translate>

(Aren’t you tired ?) No, it’s whole room, not me. So strange !

<End>

<Translate>

When I’m still, the whole room is trembling slightly, and my chair is swinging too.

<End>

  1. FUKUSHIMA DIARY FR – Rapport du 6 au 8 juillet 2012.
    Par Mochizuki, le 9 juillet 2012.

    Dons : 44,00 $
    Frais : 14,82 $
    Reste : 29,18 $

    Objectif : 2 000,00$
    Total … : 87,00$
    Trouver : 1 913,00$

    Acquis = 4,3 %
    Manque = 95,7 %

    Merci beaucoup pour vos soutiens, comme toujours. Je suis un peu inquiet parce que c’est lent depuis le début du mois. S’il vous plaît, ne m’oubliez pas !

    Depuis mon arrivée au Canada, la situation a changé au Japon. Avant et après juin.

    1- Moins de sujets sur la nourriture contaminée.
    2- Moins de sujets sur la substance noire.
    3- Moins de sujets sur les débris.
    4- De plus en plus sur les manifestations.
    5- Le redémarrage des usines nucléaires.
    6- Plus d’ennuis dans la SFP4 (piscine des combustibles usagés du réacteur 4).

    Sur les deux premiers, ce n’est pas parce que c’est résolu mais parce qu’on en sait assez. Ça continue toujours et rien ne s’est amélioré.

    et il y a le lien très fort entre les 3 et 4. 3 était le prologue de 4. Il y avait de petites mais très intenses manifestations contre l’acceptation des déchets. Le bilan est que les citoyens ont perdu et maintenant nous sommes sur le point de perdre de nouveau et à une plus grande échelle. On est en marche vers l’étape suivante. On va le voir bientôt.

    5 nous envoie aussi vers l’étape suivante. Ils ont seulement redémarré la centrale nucléaire de Ohi et ils vont redémarrer Monju, le surgénérateur. Kepco a fermé 2 usines à valeur, ce qui signifie que le redémarrage de Ohi n’était pas à cause de pénuries de courant. ils courent pour quelque chose mais nous ne savons toujours pas quoi.

    6 est en fait le plus gros problème. De ce que je publie, tout est provisoire. L’UPS (onduleur) cramée est en fait pour des serveurs informatiques et ne peuvent être utilisés dans des centrales nucléaires. Ce genre d’accident va arriver de plus en plus. Il va y avoir des cyclones. Je pense personnellement que la SPF4 sera une des crises de cet été.

    Un tweet a attiré mon attention. La personne est à Tsukuba, préfecture d’Ibaraki :

    あのさ・・・昨日の20:34から地震速報ないんだけど、ずーっと家が揺れてるんだよ。なんなの?じわじわ地面が動いているの?

  3. lori,

    You have not been forgotten. The Fukushima Diary is invaluable to those of us who are following. Most of the people in my location in the US are oblivious to the suffering of the Japanese, and do not believe that the radiation will affect them. I have a small group that shares awareness. It is heartbreaking that a child has lost innocence and thinks about the future in 10 years as to his life or death. Eventually, the children in other places around the globe will be placed in the same circumstance. The adults will probably expect their leaders to handle the outcome and will come to the realization that the people have been led astray and have been on their own the whole time. Keep your strength and follow your path.

    Michele

  4. Bless you for all that you do. I donated to your worthy cause. You will never be forgotten.
    Your updates are very important. We do not receive the truth from our government.

  5. Where are you in Canada? If in Toronto, please email me – I would like to meet a Japaneese hero. Have you considered organizing fundraising events in Canada ? (even if they are in food court in the mall to cut down costs)

About this site

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
