How contaminated a bird is in Fukushima2

Prof. Mori of Tokyo university took a picture of a bush warbler in Fukushima by autoradiography.
It took one month to capture the radiation from cesium 137.
The bush warbler was found dead in Iidate mura last December.
This photo was taken from the stomach of the bird. Black spots in the wing parts show radioactive particles stuck to the wings. The ones in the body parts show the radioactive particles taken into the body. Biological concentration is assumed to have happened through contaminated worms.

  2. My observations+critique (if one assumes, one must challenge!)

By comparing the source images and noting the obvious discrepancies, my findings are that the x-ray imagery shows only beta- radiation (Cs-137 produces beta- and gamma when disentegrating, c.f. wikipedia).

If gamma radiation was measured, I’d expect to observe 100% correlation between the 2 images, which is not the case when comparing one with the other (inverted vertically for easier matching). For the record gamma radiation passes trough matter but beta- doesn’t pass trough much, as it interacts with matter by ionization (source: wikipedia).

As my findings indicate only beta- radiation measurment, my conclusions are that contrarly to the claim in the article “The [spots] in the body parts show the radioactive particles taken into the body”, the spots show *the particles deposited on the feathering*. In addition, I find it logic by relating the fact that there are more spots on the back than on the belly with my assumption that a bird, especially an ill bird, would have much more difficulty to clean his back than his belly.

Please write me back if your conclusions differ, I would be interested to know if and how my analysis could be flawed.

  3. Intel Agent says:

That is an animal in japan, their are many types of animals in japan.
The contamination in that animal was not conducive to biological life.
Are Humans Animals? yes indeed, Thank you for leaving iori, you’re a good role model, you are righteous/ could you get SOME DECENT RECENT SATELITE PHOTOS OF DAINII, ONAGAWA, TOKAI, OTHERS? ESPECIALLY >DAINII<
    THANK YOU!

That photo is intel… It says that picture is you if you are in japan period and that is final.
