Fukushima government announced they found thyroid tumor from 26 children out of 3765 children living in Namiemachi, Iidatemura, and Kawamatamachi Yamakiya chiku.
However, they assert they are all benignity, there is no symptom to become malignity because of Fukushima accident, based on the view of Exploratory Committee.
The chairman of Exploratory Committee is Yamashita Shunichi.
The tumor was scanned by ultrasound. The reason why they assert the tumors are all benignity, there is no symptom to become malignity because of Fukushima accident is not explained.

東京電力福島第１原発事故を受け、１８歳以下の子ども約３６万人の甲状腺検査を進めている福島県は２５日、専門家による検討委員会を開き、先行実施した避難区域の３７６５人のうち、２６人に一定の大きさのしこりなどが見つかったが、全て良性だったとする結果をまとめた。検討委座長の山下俊一・福島県立医大副学長は「原発事故に伴う悪性の変化はみられない」としている。
結果がまとまったのは、原発事故で警戒区域や計画的避難区域に指定された浪江町、飯舘村、川俣町山木屋地区の子どもで、超音波による画像診断の結果、３７３９人には異常が見つからなかった。
