17,200 Bq/Kg from tea leaves

 

 

17,200 Bq/Kg of cesium was measured from Yacon tea made in Zao Miyagi.

1,100 packages were already sold from July to January. From 4/10, the maker is collecting the products.

Yacon tea is supposed to be good for your stress.

 

ヤーコン茶から高濃度セシウム＝１万ベクレル超、自主回収中－宮城
宮城県は１２日、同県蔵王町の業者が製造したヤーコン茶から、政府の基準値（１キロ当たり１００ベクレル）を大幅に上回る１万７２００ベクレルの放射性セシウムが検出されたと発表した。商品は昨年７月から今年１月にかけ１１００セットが出荷された。今月１０日以降、業者が自主回収を進めている。（2012/04/12-22:29）
