Kepco to pay OBs 1,500,000$ by raising power rates

Kepco is going to raise the power rates by 11.88 % for households from this April.

However, they are going to pay their 14 OBs 1,544,103$ (140,000,000¥) as “advisors”.

One OB is to be paid 110,293$ (10,000,000¥) from the raised power rates from 2013 to 2015.

It was stated on the public hearing organized by METI on 1/28/2013.

Kepco va augmenter ses tarifs d’électricité domestique de 11,88 % à partir du mois d’avril.
C’est pour dégager 1 544 103 $ (140 000 000 ¥) pour payer l’ancienneté de 14 de leurs salariés en tant que “conseillers”.
De 2013 à 2015, chaque ancienneté sera payée 110 293 $ (10 000 000 ¥), pris sur l’augmentation des factures.
Ceci a été affirmé au cours d’une audition publique organisée par le METI (= Ministère de l’Économie du Commerce et de l’Industrie) le 28 janvier 2013.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
