Iodine measured at water purification plant in Gunma

Following up this article..Iodine 131 measured at purification center in Shizuoka and increasing

130 Bq/Kg of Iodine was measured from sewage sludge of Keno water purification plant in Gunma.
The samples were taken from 3/12~3/21/2012.

It is not reported if it was Iodine 131 or 129.

県は30日、県営6下水処理場で12~21日に採取した下水汚泥を検査した結果、県央水質浄化センター(玉村町)で1キロ当たり130ベクレルの放射性ヨウ素を検出したと発表した。ほかの5処理場はヨウ素は不検出だったが、同75~14ベクレルの放射性セシウムが検出された。県は「セシウムの濃度は上がっておらず、福島第1原発事故以外の要因の可能性が高い」としている。

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
