350μSv/h from a temporary debris storage equipment in Fukushima plant

According to the management report of debris and deforestation tree stocked in Fukushima plant, the atmospheric dose nearby a  temporary debris storage equipment is 350 μSv/h, where it’s about 10 ~ 50 μSv/h around other storage equipment.

The report tells Tepco stocks 11000 m3 of debris (Concrete and metal) in a temporary storage equipment located in the north part of Fukushima plant area.

They measured 350 μSv/h on the border of the equipment area and other area, which is extremely higher than other storage equipment.

The volume of the debris was decreased by 1000 m3 from 9/4/2012 to 9/28/2012, but there is no explanation about where they moved the highly radioactive material.

350 μSv/ora da apparecchiatura di contenimento detriti temporanea nell’impianto di Fukushima

Secondo il report di gestione dei detriti e degli alberi espiantati presenti nell’impianto di Fukushima, la dose atmosferica prossima all’apparecchiatura di stoccaggio detriti temporanea è di 350 μSv/ora, quando solitamente è di circa 10 ~ 50 μSv/ora intorno alle altre attrezzature di contenimento.

Il report rivela che la Tepco conserva 11000 m3 di detriti (calcestruzzo e metallo) in un’apparecchiatura di stoccaggio temporanea situata nella parte nord dell’impianto di Fukushima.

Sono stati misurati 350 μSv/ora nel bordo dell’area di stoccaggio e in un’altra aera, molto più alta delle altre apparecchiature di stoccaggio.

Il volume dei detriti è diminuito di 1000 m3 dal 04/09/2012, ma non si sa dove sono stati spostati i materiali altamente radioattivi.

Selon le rapport de gestion des débris et des arbres de la déforestation stockés dans la centrale de Fukushima, la radioactivité atmosphérique près d’une aire de stockage provisoire des débris est de 350 μSv/h, alors qu’elle est entre 10 et 50 μSv/h autour des autres aires de stockage.

Le rapport dit que Tepco stocke 11 000 m³ de débris (béton et métaux) dans un endroit de stockage provisoire situé dans la partie nord de la centrale de Fukushima.

Ils ont relevé 350 μSv/h en bordure de cet endroit et ailleurs, ce qui est extrêmement plus élevé que dans les autres endroits.

Le volume des débris a été diminué de 1 000 m³ entre le 4 et le 28 septembre 2012 mais rien n’est dit sur où ils ont déplacé les matières hautement radioactives.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
