Nagashima Kazuyuki, who won silver medal at Asian wrestling league in Koshu last year has been diagnosed with acute myelocytic leukemia.

He’s 30 years old and from Gunma.

He belongs to a company in Iwaki Fukushima,(Source) where he used to train.

He felt ill in early September and was diagnosed with acute myelocytic leukemia during a medical test on 9/10/2011.

His older twin says, they don’t know why he got acute myelocytic leukemia.

Because the medical treatment costs too much, they ask for charity donation.


日本レスリング協会は1日、男子フリー74キロ級で昨年のアジア大会銀メダリスト・長島和幸2 件(30=クリナップ)が急性骨髄白血病を患い、都内で闘病中であることを発表した。今月21~23日の全日本選手権は欠場する。同選手は9月上旬に体調不良を訴え、同10日に病院で検査を受けたところ白血病と診断された。双子の兄正彦さんによると「原因は不明」という。治療が順調に進めば正彦さんがドナーとなり、来年初めにも骨髄移植する。長島は同協会の公式サイトを通じて「必ず復帰しますので、温かく見守ってください」とコメントしている。

They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
