M4.7 hit east offshore of Chiba, max seismic intensity was 4

Major earthquakes keep happening in Japan.

After M6.3 hit Awaji island on 4/13, M6.2 hit Miyake-jima and M5.8 hit Miyagi offshore on 4/17 with countless minor quakes.

At 23:11 of 4/19/2013 (JST), M4.7 hit east offshore of Chiba. The maximum seismic intensity was 4. The depth of epicenter was 10km.

Des séismes majeurs continuent de frapper le Japon.

Après qu’un M6,3 ait frappé l’île de Awaji le 13 avril, un M6,2 a frappé Miyake-jima et un M5,8 au large du Miyagi le 17 avril accompagné d’innombrables séismes plus petits . (cf. URL])

Le 19 avril 2013 à  23:11 (JST), un M4,7 frappe à l’Est au large de Chiba. L’intensité sismique record en a été de 4. La profondeur de l’épicentre était de 10 km.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
