Having sore throat since 10 days ago.cough a lot since 2 days ago too. suffering from sore eye too.I don’t even feel like looking at PC. When I drink,my throat goes worse and cough even worse. so much fatigue.

  1. Mochizuki san,

Can you order all your food from west Japan? I am in Kyoto. I think it must be less contaminated.

Also, can you get a special filter for your water which you use for drinking and cooking? Maybe ion-exchange resin type, or dual-filter type (with both ion-exchange resin and activated carbon)?

I read an article that Kirin, Asahi, and Sapporo beers are all produced in Tohoku. Uh oh! Can you trust anything these days?

I think wind direction inside Tokyo is now often coming from Fukushima. I read advice to use wet tissue for doing house cleaning. Do not use vacuum cleaners or brushes because they move dust on floors and then make it blow into the air.

Thank you for your blog. It is always very interesting.

    Good luck!

    1. To all Japanese citizens,

May God forgive us for not coming to Your aid. The entire world seems to have lost its compass for doing what is right. It is an epidemic worldwide. I ask that You try to forgive every one of Us for letting You down at a time when You needed Us the most. We are Brothers and Sisters and WE ARE ALL ONE! We shall all meet one day, and what a glorious day it will be! Namaste

About this site

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
