JP PM Abe to IOC “Contaminated water is completely blocked”→Tepco “Tritium can’t be blocked”

In the presentation to IOC, Japanese Prime Minister Abe stated the contaminated water is completely blocked in Fukushima nuclear plant port.

In the press conference of 9/9/2013, Tepco’s spokesman commented they installed the silt fence inside of the port, but it doesn’t stop radioactive water Tritium.

They said Tritium moves as seawater.

Tepco also commented Cesium-134/137 density can also be decreased to be 1/5 ~ 1/20, but can’t be completely blocked.

Tepco’s statement contradicts the official statement to IOC of Japanese Prime Minister Abe.

It is not verified what Abe was based on.

You can ignore the truth but the truth won’t ignore you.

  1. Hello,

I don’t find the donate button, where i can find it? I’m usually send donation. Can i support you again?

    Best regards

    1. Thank you very much. I set “donation time” some time in the end of month. In the meantime, I removed the donation buttons etc..
I will notify to restart accepting donation before the donation time again.

  2. Abe, why don’t you prove how safe it is at the plant by going for a PR stunt like swimming around the plant with other politicians that believe in how safe the water is now.

People will see you swimming and then you can have a big feast of local seafood! This will help assure the people that everything is roses and buttercups now! Make sure you stay in the water for at least 1 hour, too. The longer the better to prove that you are very confident is your beliefs on how safe it is at the plant now and it demonstrates your extensive knowledge of nuclear science.

  3. Not a problem,

Japan is not alone, in this regard. USA citizens are certainly accustomed to politician: stupidity, ignorance, inconsistency, corruption, lying, uninformed-bellicosity, betrayals, and buffoonery. This very week, the Present Regime ‘Call to War’ assertions have been directly contradicted by the German Intelligence Service and Russia. “The Syria researcher whose Wall Street Journal op-piece was cited by Secretary of State John Kerry and Sen. John McCain during congressional hearings about the use of force has been fired from the Institute for the Study of War for lying about having a Ph.D., the group announced on Wednesday.” “The Institute for the Study of War has learned and confirmed that, contrary to her representations, Ms. Elizabeth O’Bagy does not in fact have a Ph.D. degree from Georgetown University,” the institute said in a statement. “ISW has accordingly terminated Ms. O’Bagy’s employment, effective immediately.” “In addition to her role at the Institute for the Study of War, Ms. O’Bagy is affiliated with the Syrian Emergency Task Force, a nonprofit operating as a 501(c)(3) pending IRS approval that subcontracts with the U.S. and British governments to provide aid to the Syrian opposition,” the WSJ added in its clarification.

Unfortunately, this presently appears to be a Global Pandemic. So if a bit of deceptive salesmanship was employed to sell the Olympic venue, in all likelihood, no nations are bombed and nobody dies.

‘Companies lay off thousands, then demand immigration reform for new labor’ http washingtonexaminer com (/companies-lay-off-thousands-then-demand-immigration-reform-for-new-labor/article/2535595) By BYRON YORK | SEPTEMBER 11, 2013 AT 1:23 PM

On Tuesday, the chief human resources officers of more than 100 large corporations sent a letter to House Speaker John Boehner and Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi urging quick passage of a comprehensive immigration reform bill. A new immigration law, the corporate officers say, “would be a long overdue step toward aligning our nation’s immigration policies with its workforce needs at all skill levels to ensure U.S. global competitiveness. In addition, at the same time the corporate officers seek higher numbers of immigrants, both low-skill and high-skill, many of their companies are laying off thousands of workers.

Hewlett-Packard, whose Executive Vice President for Human Resources Tracy Keogh signed the letter, laid off 29,000 employees in 2012. In August of this year, Cisco Systems, whose Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer Kathleen Weslock signed the letter, announced plans to lay off 4,000 — in addition to 8,000 cut in the last two years. United Technologies, whose Senior Vice President of Human Resources and Organization Elizabeth B. Amato signed the letter, announced layoffs of 3,000 this year. American Express, whose Chief Human Resources Officer L. Kevin Cox signed the letter, cut 5,400 jobs this year. Procter & Gamble, whose Chief Human Resources Officer Mark F. Biegger signed the letter, announced plans to cut 5,700 jobs in 2012.

There are more still. In all, it’s fair to say a large number of the corporate signers of the letter demanding more labor from abroad have actually laid off workers at home in recent years. According to a recent Reuters report, U.S. employers announced 50,462 layoffs in August, up 34 percent from the previous month and up 57 percent from August 2012.

About this site

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
