Radiation researcher “Social welfare service corporation for children stopped us from measuring radiation”

According to the radiation researcher of citizen, a social welfare service corporation in Ibaraki prefecture stopped them from measuring radiation.

The researcher has posted these videos.

The social welfare service corporation is located in Takahagi city Ibaraki. It is an educational institute for children.

On 4/18/2013, the principal and the chairman of the board of directors stopped them measuring the radiation level and analyzing the radionuclide.

The reason was “If the facility is captured by camera, the parents (customers) would be scared. The municipal government measures radiation level, so their measurement is not necessary.”

Selon le contrôleur de radioactivité citoyen, une société de service d’aide à l’enfance de la préfecture d’Ibaraki les a empêchés de relever la radioactivité.

Ce contrôleur avait posté ces vidéos :

Cette société de service d’aide sociale est située dans la commune de Takahagi dans Ibaraki. C’est un institut éducatif pour les enfants.
Le 18 avril 2013, le principal et le président du bureau des directeurs leur ont empêché de relever le niveau de radioactivité et d’analyser les radionucléides.
La raison donnée est que “si le service est filmé, les parents (clients) vont avoir peur. La municipalité mesure la radioactivité, donc ces mesures-là ne sont pas nécessaires.”

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
