According to a Japanese NPO, WINEP, arthropod’s concentration factor of radioactive silver (Ag-110m) is significantly higher than Cs-137/134.

Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare didn’t make the safety level of Ag-110m in food to say “the effective dose is negligible”.

This analysis brings a “question” about this regulation of MHLW.

The sample of the house centipede was taken last September. It was in Bentenyama mountain Fukushima city.

They measured 1,527 Bq/Kg of Ag-110m, 2,379 Bq/Kg of Cs-134 and 2,555 Bq/Kg of Cs-137.

The soil in the circumstances contained 12.1 Bq/Kg of Ag-110m, 10,605 Bq/Kg of Cs-134 and 14,099 Bq/Kg of Cs-137.

The concentration factors (concentrated amount / soil contamination) are like below,

Ag-110m : 126.2
Cs-134 : 0.224
Cs-137 : 0.181

As a result, this arthropod concentrated 697 times much Ag-110m as Cs-137.

Cette analyse amène une “question” sur la réglementation du MHLW.
Cet échantillon de mille-pattes date de septembre dernier, dans les montagnes de Bentenyama, dans la commune de Fukushima.
Ils ont relevé 1 527 Bq/kg d’Ag 110m, 2 379 Bq/kg de Cs 134 et 2 555 Bq/kg de Cs-137.
Le sol autour contenait 12,1 Bq/kg d’Ag 110m, 10 605 Bq/kg de Cs 134 et 14 099 Bq/kg de Cs 137.

Les facteurs de concentration (quantité concentrée / concentration au sol) sont les suivantes :
Ag 110m : 12 620 %
Cs 134 : 22,4 %
Cs 137 : 18,1 %

En conséquence, cet arthropode a concentré 697 fois plus d’Ag 110m que de Cs 137.

They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
