Possibility of Russia banning imports of Japanese food for outbreak of norovirus

Having norovirus outbreak in Japan, agency of consumer’s right and welfare in Russia suggested the possibility to ban importing food from Japan in case the situation goes out of control.

It’s said, the amount of food imported from Japan is little, Russia has limited effect. You need to be careful about raw food.

Au vu de l’épidémie de norovirus constatée au Japon, l’agence des droits des consommateurs et des affaires sociales de Russie a suggéré la possibilité d’interdire les importations alimentaires du Japon si la situation devenait incontrôlable.

Ils précisent qu’étant donné que la quantité d’aliments importés du Japon est réduite, la Russie a in impact limité. On doit être prudent sur les aliments bruts.

They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
