[Missing contaminated ash]

Polluted Ash Mysteriously Not Found in Miyagi Prefecture. City of Kashiwa Landfilled Oblivious of Contamination:

On Sep. 1, “Houdou Station” reported current situation concerning the polluted ash. As temporaly stock of polluted ash increase all over Japan, the criterion value was set 8,000 Becquerels for polluted wast and there are some exceeding that value. City of Kashiwa reportedly used polluted waste for landfill without knowing. City of Nagareyama in Chiba prefecture demanded TEPCO to accept waste.

The picture shows the interviewee is not wearing any mask standing right beside the waste.

Some how Miyagi prefecture is not highlighted as a prefecture where polluted ash was found, and that looks very weird. Some reports say Miyagi prefectural government is not carrying out sufficient researches on sweetfish in Abukuma river. Abukuma river runs through Fukushima prefecture too where radioactive cecium was detected in sweetfish.

[Hidden dose meter]

In France, it seems that Japan’s nuclear problem is under control and nuclear plants are ready to start again. But it’s all lie. Many points are:

Millions of cube meters of contaminated water. Three of the nuclear cores have melted. Greenpeace considers that the pollution of the water has only just begun.

Secondly, Geiger counters are still being hold at the airport, so the famillies don’t know the dosis of radiatio they live in. No Iodine pills have been distributed to the population, no informations about where the winds were blowing when the disaster happened.

Third : Mothers worrying for their children. Of course the level of radiation in the food is being tested, but the results are only given to the population when the food has been distributed in shops.

Fourth : We should consider a larger evacution. Taking off 60 cm of ground earth on playground is said to prevent a bit the pollution, but it’s impossible to do on a whole prefecture. We have to give the means for the people who wants to evacuate to do so, but it’s harder when no information is provided.

Fifth : No help for people working in the agriculture. If the governement doesn’t help them live, they ave to continue selling food from Fukushima. But in Japan, silence is a must.

Sixth : Medics are building underground network. They are silenced and don’t dare speaking, so they are helping the population, studying the effects and giving care so the population and children can protect themselves. Lastly, it seems that Japan has taken one trus decision : to drop nuclear energy. But this information is carefully hidden in France. (We are big providers of nuclear energy in Japan, and n°1 users in the world) Electricity consomation have drop from 28% in Japan, and about 40% in Tokyo since 311. And we need to drop 20% from 2020. We have a lot to learn on this point from Japan.

[A cup a tea]

‎2,720 Bq of Cesium detected in tea processed in Chiba prefecture

The City of Chiba announced the content below on September 3rd.

At 10:15pm on September 2nd, Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare contacted the Chiba City’s sanitation department to inform that it had intervened a tea processing company’s facility within the City limit for a sampling and detected Cesium in tea.

On August 12th, the Central Government conducted assays of the tea that was processed from the harvest made in Nagara-chou, Chiba-ken on May 31st, and the result came out on the same day.

The assay result of radioactive Cesium is 2,720 Bq/kg.

Announced by the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare on September 2nd.
(Processed tea, when taken as brewed tea, becomes quite diluted, and there is no immediate health effect [of radiation])

As I read this announcement, the timing of press release makes me shake my head. It was August 12th that 2,720 Bq/kg, which exceeds the currently set 500 Bq/kg standard by far, was detected. Yet the Ministry released the news on Septermber 2nd, more than 20 days later.

Why not immediate release?
For 20 days, the contaminated tea continued to be marketed.

This tea had been sold by reservations through the Internet beginning on May 31st, the day harvest was made.
There is zero stocking of this tea, thus regardless of the processing date, it was marketed continually.

Chiba City’s Health department is leading the effort to recall any unsold portions of the harvest. But how many people could have consumed this tea while left uninformed for 20 days.

When tea is brewed, [the concentration of radiation is said to]* is reduced to 1/9 to 1/6. Drinking this tea then would mean 320 to 450 Bq/kg intake.

However, the standard for tea drinks is 200 Bq.

Totally exceeding the standard.

September, also 20 Tage später.

In 4 prefectures of Japans Northeastern Tohoku region, 14 people showed symptoms of fever, abdominal pain and diarrhea after eating at the family restaurant chain “gasto” and where diagnosed as being infected with bacterial dysentery.

“Skylark”, the trust operating “gasto” run altogether 120 restaurants.

Persons infected with bacterial dysentery are 3 women in the prefecture Miyagi, 5 persons each in the prefecture Yamagata and Fukushima, and two women in the prefecture Aomori, counting 15 altogether.

According to a survey done in each prefecture, every one of these persons excluding one woman from Miyagi was eating in one of a “gasto” restaurant from 16th to 20th of.

All of these restaurants are using food prepared in the Skylark group cooking facility “Sendai MD Center” in the prefecture Miyagi.
The health care center suspended business of this facility according to the expansion of infection for three days from 31st to 3rd.
“Skylark” is self restricting their operations from Hokkaido to Tohoku and a part of Miyagi from 31st.

The self restricted restaurants are as follows:

Hokkaido (23 “gasto” restaurants)
Aomori (11”gasto” restaurants)
Iwate (10 ”gasto” restaurants)
Akita (15”gasto” restaurants, 1 “Ohashi café gasto”, 1 “steak gasto”)
Miyagi (16 ”gasto” restaurants, 1 “Ohashi café gasto”, 1 “steak gasto”)
Fukushima (20 ”gasto” restaurants, 2 “steak gasto”)

Investigation in the “gasto” factory in Miyagi
“1st September 2011, 21:15” bookmark
According to the question of 14 people being infected with bacterial dysentery after eating in the major family’s restaurant company “gasto”, investigations have been made in the company’s food factory in Miyagi and restaurants.

A specialist for infectious diseases stated that 70- 80 percent of dysentery patients found in today’s Japan infect themselves in nearby countries like India or Indonesia on tourist trips.

But according to the management of “Skylark”, from all the 230 employees, and their families, working at the investigated factory no one did a trip abroad.

From Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum:

(Quote) “Symptoms of radiation sickness caused by the atomic bomb resemble symptoms from dysentery. At that time (after the detonation of the atomic bomb in Hiroshima) a lot of cases of dysentery have been reported. In reality they had been cases of radiation sickness.”

From Doctor Sunagawa’s blog:

Symptoms of acute radiation sickness:

1. Diarrhea: bloody diarrhea leading to the misinformation of spreading dysentery.

The tissue of the small intestines is very sensitive to radiation. That’s because the villus cells are produced by the intestinal gland, ascending to the surface of the villus and die on the tip of it. The life span of these cells is 3- 4 days.
The intestinal glands outer skin becomes a target for radiation. If the cell death described above is happening in a large scale, it leads to intestinal death. Because all moisture is taken out by the diarrhea dehydration is taking place. This is the reason why many victims of the atomic bomb where continuously asking for drinking water before they finally died. The large intestines mucous membrane is also collapsing leading to bloody diarrhea therefore being mistaken for dysentery.

About this site

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
