[300m3 leakage] Tepco found 2 leaking bolts in the tank / The bolts are not loosened

On 9/25/2013, Tepco announced they found the two bolts that may have caused the 300m3 leakage. They are located on the bottom of the tank.

They inspected it by spreading the bubbles over the bolts and vacuum them from the outside of the tank. On those 2 bolts, the bubble was vacuumed to the outside through the possible leaking points.


According to Tepco, these bolts were not loosened. The size of the leaking areas and the reason are not investigated yet.

If it’s the design flaw, 350 of other tanks may leak from the same area.

Le 25 septembre 2013, Tepco annonce qu’ils ont découvert les deux boulons sans doute à l’origine des 300 m³ de fuite. Ils les ont situés au fond de la citerne.
L’inspection s’est faite en recouvrant les boulons de bulles et en les aspirant par l’autre côté. Su ces deux boulons, les bulles ont été attirées de l’autre côté de la paroi par ces endroits probablement à l’origine de la fuite.

Selon Tepco, ces boulons n’étaient pas desserrés. La taille des zones de fuite et l’explication de leur présence ne sont pas encore établis. Si c’est un défaut de  conception, 350 autres citernes pourraient fuir dans la même zone.


Vous pouvez ignorer la vérité mais la vérité ne vous ignorera pas.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
