Thank you for your support as always.

The headline of yesterday..240,000 Bq/Kg at 5km from Imperial Palace

was so shocking to me. It’s hard to describe the feeling to see your home country collapsed.

I always thought Tokyo citizens must evacuate soon as possible, but now I even think it’s too late to evacuate.

It’s not atmospheric dose. It’s Bq/m2.

The black substance looks black because it’s gathered but you can not see each particle when it’s blown up.

then you breathe, take into your eyes, ears, nose and everywhere, even if you wear a mask.

It is a tragedy while you take so much care about 3 Bq/kg in food, you are stepping on 240,000Bq/kg of the dust from hell.

The reason why I mentioned Imperial Palace is not because I’m a nationalist. It’s because it’s in the center of Tokyo.

Actually, Japan has lost its capital city.

However, that was very predictable.

Black substance was found in Minamisoma in February. and similar stuff was found in Ibaraki, Chiba, Saitama.

and after the rain, it was observed the black substance mass generated in Minamisoma.

It was only the matter of time for Tokyo to be covered with the black powder.

I wish I could have warned it more, and sooner.

PS, If you don’t know what the black substance is, you can search into the blog with the key word, “black substance”.

About this site

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
