[Suspicious] Premium rate of earthquake insurance to be raised by 15.5% in Japan


On 3/26/2013, Non-Life Insurance Rating Organization of Japan applied to Financial Services Agency that they are going to raise the premium rate of earthquake insurance.
It will be raised by 15.5% at average all around in Japan. The new rate will be applied in 7. 2014 at the soonest. The insured people will need to pay more for the same value of the earthquake insurance.

The organization states it is due to 311. The possibility of Nankai megathrust earthquake is not considered. It is estimated that the potential Nankai megathrust earthquake would cause 220 trillion yen damage and 5 million evacuees.

[Suspect] La couverture Premium des assurances séismes va être augmentée de 15,5 % au Japon


Le 26 mars 2013, la Non-Life Insurance Rating Organization of Japan a demandé à la Financial Services Agency de pouvoir augmenter les cotisations des contrats premium des assurances contre les séismes.
Elles vont être augmentées de 15,5 % en moyenne sur tout le Japon. Le nouveau tarif sera appliqué à partir de juillet 2014 au plus tôt. Les assurés devront payer plus pour une même couverture contre les dégâts des séismes.

L’organisation affirme que c’est à cause du 11-3. L’éventualité du séisme majeur de Nankai n’est pas prise en compte. On estime que le séisme majeur de Nankai provoquerait 220 milliards de yens de dégâts et 5 millions de réfugiés. (cf. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
