According to Interfax, the chairman of Russian House Committee on Foreign Affairs pointed out the possibility of Japan to develop nuclear weapons against North Korea on 2/12/2013.
Having North Korean nuclear test, he commented Japan might develop nuclear weapons if North Korea continues to develop nuclear weapons.

Japan has had nukes for decades…just unassembled and very well-hidden.
Japan was also working on it’s own nuke near the end of WWII…another well-hidden story, but true.
The only difference between years past and now is that the hawkish gov’t in Japan is willing to talk about more openly.
You can be sure that Japan already has all the components need, this will just allow them to “legalize” what they are doing, while causing China to pause…
I believe that Japan has already nuked herself several times over.
