In order to fight harmful rumor, Fukushima city government is selling bottled tapwater at conference or events held in the city. (100 yen for 500ml)
They started selling it in 2008, but renewed the label last year to appeal.
Cs-134/137 and Iodine-131 are supposed to be lower than the detectable amount.
Fukushima city government states, they intend to emphasize the safety of the tapwater in Fukushima city and food by the bottled tapwater, but it takes time for you to have actual health problems. You can’t taste or feel whether the water contains radioactive material or not.
Also, their minimum detectable level of radioactive material changes everyday for some reason.

If they set the minimum detectable level slightly higher than the actual amount, they can always indicate it to be “Not Detectable”.
Additionally, they only measure Cs-134/137 and Iodine-131. Other nuclides such as Strontium-89/90 or Uranium are never measured. It is very difficult to conclude the tapwater is safe to drink.
Even now, reactor1~3 keep emitting 10 million Bq of Cs-134/137 every single hour. [URL 3] No wonder it reaches the water source (Surikamigawa) as well. In Nihonmatsu city, radioactive soil from decontamination work is dumped beside the water source as well. [URL 4]

La municipalité de Fukushima affirme qu’ils veulent mettre en avant la sécurité sanitaire de l’eau du robinet et des aliments dans la ville de Fukushima en embouteillant l’eau du robinet mais ça prend du temps pour vous induire de réels problèmes de santé. Vous ne pouvez détecter au goût ou sentir si l’eau est radioactive ou pas.
De plus, les minimums détectables des niveaux de radioactivité changent tous les jours sans raison claire.

I’ll be honest. I have always looked up to Japan. Everything I have read or heard about japan was music to my ears. Family values, high education, take pride in their land. I have lost all that since 3-11. You don’t have to be a nuclear scientist to know this is way worst than chernobyl, it’s common sense. The massive damage to humans is yet to be seen. It’s slow but ruthless and it will happen. Thanks to the Japanese government they are speeding up this process. I have heard they don’t want to create a panic. Guess what, panic is a human emotion intended to save your life. It’s time to panic!
