Anti-nuclear citizens have been protesting against restarting Ohi nuclear plant planned on 7/1/2012. It was rainy after midnight.

They have been standing against the riot police since the evening of 6/30/2012 to occupy the road to Ohi nuclear plant.

No one can enter the plant without going through this road.

  1. To come, pure unadulterated madness and complete screaming shrieking mania, to picture it, picture someone who’s insane on PCP. This goes for all sides involved, a hollow shell with madness, hatred and death being all that’s left, reversion, revision 2.0. There are no rules or law for the elitest of the elite and they will seek to reinforce that “good feeling” amongst themselves by commiting heinous acts, sick gets sicker. The madness is coming.

  3. With TEPCO’s SFP4 heating up in Fukushima, and with this dedicated Ooi crowd needing night time reinforcement, Tokyo protesters who are able to make the trip might want to head for Fukui today.

    If SFP4 goes, Fukui will not be safe, but you would have a large evacuation head start on 32 million Tokyoites.

    1. /nice to know such a threat didn’t merit a secondary let alone a tertiary back up system, just the one/PROVEN. Just shows a genuine lack of concern or all this hubub is B.S<as per usual. I also took the liberty of raising their temperature observations of spent fuel four by THREE DECIMAL POINTS.

      1. Typical TEPCO. Maximize profits by cutting safety and security to the limits of common sense (and sometimes then some, as we have seen).

        Against companies like this, a strong regulator would be a minimal defense, but Japan government doesn’t do that.

  4. We are in the realm of “group reinforced behavior” on both sides, their clash of opposite views is imminent. One side has proven their contempt and depravity and will further enforce it and feed the flame of the insanity that resides in humanity. Will it become an inferno.

  5. The solution to this problem is not in production, therefore there is not a timely enactable solution to diffuse this bomb.

  7. Don’t be confused, there is contempt and depravity and it has been proven manyfold, I seen the govt/tepco clench their fists when they were being verbally shunned and when pointed questions were being demanded to be answered. I seen it, it accounts for something.

  8. They think they are daimyos and still believe they can lob off the heads of those who dissent. This is true of even their state propaganda media channels – totally dysfunctional. It is time to let them know we can lob off your heads any time and we rule you and you are not a daimyo but a servant to the people.

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
