[Column] Spring calls

The airplane got the engine turned on.

I was looking around in the plane, where I boarded almost the first time in my life.
My mobile phone rang in my pocket.
Stewardess told me to turn it off.

It was from my mother.
When the plane started moving, it rang again. I had to turn it off.

I looked out the window. It was dusk. The metal wing was colored orange.

I took out the pieces of newspaper that my mother gave to me before I got on the train.
It was a serial story about a prosopopoeia wild bird trying to get out of the smugglers.

Jung said every synchronicity is an inevitable.
I still don’t know what it is.

11 months passed.
After flying countless times, I was in LA.
A friend of mine took me to a Japanese restaurant. When I took off my jacket, I noticed something was in the pocket.
It was a small charm of cat. I didn’t put it myself.
In the inside of the charm, I found a small piece of paper. It was a letter from my mother.
I didn’t notice it until them. It said, she always prays for me.

I took it back to my pocket.

When about a year passed since I left Japan, I emailed my mother after a while.
I said my blog is mentioned on the complaint of US sailors against Tepco.
but she said, Tepco’s compensation would be paid from our tax, moderately speaking, my activity is not for most of Japanese people.

Today, in front of my apartment, I found a little flower.
Surviving the freezing winter, it was trying to have a yellow flower.

One day, she will also know what I’m doing.

About this site

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
