[Possible hidden tank leakage ] All β level rising in another drain

High level of radiation is measured in the far drain from the leaking tank. It suggests there is another unreported leakage near the drain.

From Tepco’s report, 920,000 Bq/m3 of all β nuclide (including Strontium-90) was measured in a drain on 8/31/2013.

No significant contamination was found in this area on 8/21/2013.

The measurement point is on the opposite side of the 300m3 leakage. It’s closer to another tank groups.

On 8/31/2013, Fukushima Diary reported four more leakages, but Tepco stated there was no continuous leakage around this drain.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
