Test fishing of young lancefish restarted, “will be sold in Metropolitan area”

On 3/29/2013, the test fishing of young lancefish was restarted offshore Fukushima.

Though it is supposed to be a test fishing, they are to fish 40 tones a week, which is the same volume as 2010.

If the radiation level is less than 50 Bq/kg, the fished young lancefish will be sold in Fukushima and Tsukiji Tokyo from 4/2/2013 at the soonest.

Le 29 mars 2013, une pêche de test des jeunes lancets (Ammodytes sp.) a redémarré au large de Fukushima.

Bien que ce soit soi-disant une pêche de test, ils vont pêcher 40 tonnes à la semaine, ce qui représente le même volume qu’en 2010.

Si le niveau de radioactivité est inférieur à 50 Bq/kg, les jeunes lancets pêchés seront vendus dans Fukushima et à Tsukiji Tokyo à partir du 2 avril 2013 au plus tôt.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
