On 3/24 ~ 25, Tepco is going to drill a hole on the first floor of reactor2 on 3/24~3/25/2013.
On January 27 and 28, a hole was drilled on the RHR (A) heat exchanger
room in the north side of the first floor of the Reactor Building.
– Obstacles (piping, grating, etc.) were found.
As a result of checking the available design information (working drawing,
construction report, etc.) on the lower part of RHR(B) heat exchanger
room in the south side of the first floor of the Reactor Building, image of
the ceiling in the southwest part of the Torus Room acquired by a camera
equipped on the small car of a quadrupedal walking robot (used in the
investigation of the lower part of the vent pipe) was found.
As no obstacle which may interfere with the investigation was found, the
hole drilling location has been determined.
The hole drilling will be performed on March 24 and 25.

Les 24 et 25 mars, Tepco va forer un trou dans le premier étage du réacteur 2.
Les 27 et 28 janvier, un trou avait été foré dans la salle d’échange de chaleur du RHR (A) dans la partie nord du premier étage du bâtiment du réacteur . – On avait trouvé des obstacles (tuyaux, grillages, etc.) . En conséquence, après contrôle sur les plans disponibles (plans de travail, rapports de construction, etc.) de la partie inférieure de la chambre des échanges de chaleur du RHR (B) dans la partie sud du premier étage du bâtiment du réacteur, des images du plafond de la partie sud-ouest de la salle du tore ont été acquises pas une caméra montée sur un robot quadrupède (utilisé dans l’exploration de la partie basse du tuyau d’évacuation). Comme aucun obstacle pouvant interférer avec l’exploration n’a été trouvé, le point de forage du trou a été déterminé. Le forage du trou aura lieu les 24 et 25 mars .
