So does Germany. Haven’t heard about Europe to refuse any delivered foods or goods.
Only exception I heard of (apart from Russia now) was Turkey.

I know there doesn’t seem to be any returns of Japanese imports e.g cars or bikes, from Britain either. That have been publicised, anyway. Maybe there has been and we just haven’t been told. This is the thing with the media here, we just are not told anything.
I live on the west coast of Scotland within a half hour drive of an NPP. This plant was due to be shut down in 2015 initially, having already extended the planned working life beyond an earlier date, then the energy company who runs it managed to get it’s working life extended to 2026, even though it’s known to be damaged, graphite cores are reported to be cracked in the reactor, and a letter was made public containing advice to the government that the site was not suitable for further expansion of use.
Somehow without any public consultation whatever the government waved through an extension of it’s operating life and do not have any contingency plans for if this knackered piece of equipment that is pretty much the same age as Chernobyl NPP, and can only be safely run up to 75% output, suffers an accident that threatens the whole of Britain and the northern hemisphere.
I had been looking forward to the cold shut down as the first step in removing the threat. Now I’m just disappointed and angry with the politicians.

That is just so miserable and depressing.
Go forth and stand for election in your local area.
The only way to get anything done is to do it yourself.
bad politicians have to be voted out of office, they don’t leave willingly.
    Good luck….
    Cheers Helen
