Quick update. Just had a thyroid test. My daughter turned out to have 3 thyroid cysts and I turned out to have adenoma-shaped goiter. We evacuated Tokyo on 3/16/2011. We didn’t go out until then. However, we went back to Tokyo in April for a month, let her eat school lunch. then we have been evacuating since 5.2011. I think we took care about what to eat as well.

<Traduction>
Ensuite on a évacué, depuis mai 2011.

I am so glad you are having check ups, even though you got out quickly. As you know, this is one of the most treatable conditions if properly man\aged with an excellent prognsis. I do know, however that some people who left Chornobyl immedately after the accident thought that they would be all right and didn’t have check ups, and sadly, they weren’t o.k.
I’m just so sorry that you have any other problems at all at the moment.

Are we surendered by Unethical ‘professionals’ ?

I addressed the Engineers’ Oath in connection to their poor job of designing and locating nuclear plants :

      … how about the Doctor’s Oath ???
Will the Japanese doctors breach their Oath ??
Will they bend-over and let the Paychecks slip into their behinds ?? I bet they will !! Prove me wrong Mr. Doctor !

      en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hippocratic_Oath

” The Hippocratic Oath is an oath historically taken by physicians and other healthcare professionals swearing to practice medicine ethically and honestly … ” …

    Biggest exposure was March 15

And alot of the exposure was I-131

Looking at pictures I took that day and facebook, I can see that I was outside much of the day.

My respect to this family, too.

It does seem to imply that perhaps their contamination was in large doses,
&/or they had been initially “polluted” before the Tohaku earthquake & tsunami stripped away so much,
including many people’s “faith” in nuclear power, the people overseeing “nukular” power, the (ir)relevant regulatory bodies both nationally & internationally, etc…

By the way, a Doctor’s oath is only as honorable as the person swearing it.

    from Wikipedia:
“Of historic and traditional value, the oath is considered a rite of passage for practitioners of medicine in many countries, although nowadays the modernized version of the text varies among them.”

Beware the traditions of mankind ….
