Minamisoma is 122 times more contaminated than mandatory evacuation zone in Belarus

Mr. Oyama, a Minamisoma city councilor measured cesium 134 / 137 of the soil of Minamisoma city.

The analysis was done by a laboratory of Minamisoma local government.

The result is like this graph below.

The most left “bar” is the doubled limit of mandatory evacuation zone in Belarus. (2*1,480,000Bq/m2). It was needed for the 2 reasons.

1. Otherwise it is too small to recognize on this graph.

2. Because the limit of 1,480,000Bq/m2 is only cesium137. By doubling the figure, it gets close to the total of cesium 137 and 134.

Oyama san has tried very hard to get the word out. In his recent posts he seems more stressed than usual. Please console him.

Oyama-san, if you are reading this, please know that you have done your job already. You have told every person in Minami Soma that the radiation is much more dangerous than the others claim. You have told the world of the government’s evil plan to repopulate this village. The people now have the information; they need to decide for themselves. You cannot force them to do what they should be doing. I don’t think you can do much more for them at this time.

I hope that you personally will move to Kyushu or Okinawa or Hokkaido and live a long and happy life. You’ve done more than your share of the work. Please have a rest so you are saved to remind the country five years from now why the people are dying and who is responsible. Please save yourself now.
