All β density constantly increasing outside of the underground wall / Contamination rising from deep underground ?

All β nuclide (including Strontium-90) density in groundwater has been increasing since this December on the seaside of reactor2 and 3.

It went up to over 10 times much within 3 months, according to Tepco. However the sampling location is outside of the underground wall, which Tepco completed the construction by December. The location therefore is separated from the reactor buildings, but facing the sea.

 

At another sampling location inside of the wall, All β nuclide density has not been increasing from Tepco’s data. There is no explainable path of contamination but it rose up from underground deeper than the underground wall.

Regarding this trend, Tepco hasn’t made any announcement.

Downplay it in the beginning, and quietly add more information so nobody notices it. All for not letting the cattle escape. This is their strategy.

Sur le côté mer des réacteurs 2 et 3, la radioactivité β (dont le strontium 90) des eaux souterraines augmente depuis décembre.

Selon Tepco, elle s’est multipliée par plus de 10 en 3 mois. Or, l’endroit échantillonné se trouve à l’extérieur du mur souterrain que Tepco a terminé en décembre. L’endroit est donc séparé des bâtiments et face à la mer.
Selon les données de Tepco, un autre échantillon pris à l’intérieur de l’enceinte du mur montre que la radioactivité β n’y a pas augmenté. Il n’y a pas d’autre explication au chemin suivi par cette radioactivité  que celui remontant après être passé par dessous ce mur souterrain.
Tepco n’a fait aucune déclaration concernant cette propension.

    TEPCO released these robot films quite some time ago. Regarding the links and elapsed time, I can probably, eventually, ‘cough them up’.

    Also the corium bright lights, clearly visible at night, on the distant, constant webcams.

    And the red, brightly glowing corium slugs, in the Fukushima Power Station yard, visible from the helicopter films.

    There was nothing secret about it, at the time.

The locations and amounts of the melted nuclear fuel should be identified by the time the government and TEPCO plan to start extracting it in the first half of fiscal 2020. Even if the melted fuel has escaped into the basement levels, it can still be located by installing [muon] sensors in underground holes, the scientists said.

  3. Similarly, the geology of Fukushima is a long-slog. TEPCO characteristically lied. TEPCO promoted a FICTION of an impermeable formation structure about 20 or 30 meters in depth, if memory serves.

    The geological reports CLEARLY showed that the purported ‘impermeable layer’ was highly fractured. I am not going to rewatch all those films and pore over the records, to relearn these basics. The matters are all in, or have been in, the public record. Right this instant, I am a bit more concerned with the WIPP nuclear incidents-accidents, near Carlsbad, New Mexico, than with continued documentation of Japanese Government mass suicide rituals.

      This cross-section shows a ground discontinuity at a depth of around 200 m, corresponding to a change in the nature of the rock. Between ground level and -200 m, we find the geological layer of Tomioka, dating from the Neogene; the layer below it is older, it is labeled as belonging to the Paleogene – Neogene and corresponds to the Taga layer.

    (Reuters) – Tokyo Electric Power Co said on Tuesday it had detected radioactive caesium in groundwater flowing into its wrecked Fukushima Daiichi plant, reversing an earlier finding that any contamination was negligible. The announcement is yet another example of Tokyo Electric initially downplaying a problem, only to revise its findings because of faulty procedures. It casts further doubt over its control over the cleanup of the worst nuclear disaster since Chernobyl in 1986.

    “Once again, they’ve missed something they should be aware of,” said Atsushi Kasai, a former researcher of radiation protection at the Japan Atomic Energy Research Institute. “This shows again they lack the qualification to be managing the plant, which is the root cause of their failure to contain the March 11 disaster.”

I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
