According to National Railway Workers Union, highly radioactive dust is accumulated on the lower part of body of Shinkansen (Japanese bullet train) in North East Japan.
The train inspection company happened to collect the dust when they inspected the train bodies, but because it’s over the safety limit, industrial waste processor returned the dust to them.
Ministry of the Environment determined the safety regulation to be 8,000 Bq/Kg. If it’s over the limit, they can’t use it to fill land.

By June of 2012, 26 cases (800×1000×700mm) of the dust were retuned. The surface dose was 5.49 μSv/h, specific nuclides are not known.
20 cases of them were carried to “gas storage cabinet” but 6 were left outside. The current situation is not updated.
It is assumed that the highly radioactive dust accumulates when the train goes through the contaminated area of North East Japan.

Selon la National Railway Workers Union, de la poussière hautement radioactive s’est accumulée sur la partie basse d’un Shinkansen (TGV japonais) au Nord-Est du Japon.

L’inspection du train par la compagnie a eu lieu après qu’ils aient récolté de la poussière en contrôlant le corps des wagons mais, parce que ça dépasse la limite de sécurité, la société qui traite les déchets leur ont renvoyé leur poussière.

Le Ministère de l’Environnement a défini la limite légale à 8 000 Bq/kg. Si ça dépasse cette limite, ils ne peuvent pas l’éparpiller.

Vers juin 2012, 26 caisses de poussière  (800×1000×700 mm) ont été retournées. La dose de surface était de 5,49 μSv/h, les nucléides ne sont pas connus.
20 caisses en ont été transportées dans le “cabinet de stockage du carburant” mais 6 ont été laissées dehors. La situation actuelle n’a pas été mise à jour.
On pense que ces poussières hautement radioactives s’accumulent lorsque le train passe à travers les régions contaminées du Nord Est du Japon.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
