Fallout level in Fukushima city is in the increasing trend since last December

According to Fukushima prefecture, the fallout level in Fukushima city has been picking up since December of 2012.

On 3/2/2013, it marked the highest reading since last April. Something might be going-on in the plant or it can be due to the direction of wind.

Selon la préfecture de Fukushima, le niveau des retombées sur la ville de Fukushima augmentent en permanence depuis décembre 2012.

Le 2 mars 2013, elles ont marqué un record depuis avril dernier. Il est peut-être en train de se passer quelque chose dans la centrale ou alors c’est peut être la direction des vents.

Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
