Groundwater reached the surface of the ground on the seaside of reactor2

Note : If you are from the international mass media, Don’t read this site before taking a contact with me.

The groundwater level reached the ground surface on the seaside of reactor2 and 3 after the heavy rain of 10/20/2013, according to Tepco’ data.

To stop the contaminated groundwater flowing to the sea, Tepco is building the impervious wall on the seaside of reactor2 and 3 but it is retaining the groundwater. The groundwater level is rising.

In one of the observation holes in the area, the groundwater level reached above 4m from the sea level, which means it went over the ground.

Tepco’s spokesman announced “the site” didn’t report the groundwater came up on the ground at least.

I reject the international mass media to read this site without taking a contact with me.I know some of the mass media corporations read Fukushima Diary to understand the trend so they know when to report about Fukushima as if they were independently following it for a long time.
In short, they make you individual readers pay for this site while they pay nothing, and when they publish the “authorized news”, you pay for the “secondhand news”, which is nothing new for us.
This site is free for the individual readers, but not for corporations. In the world, this site is nearly the only source about Fukushima. I came here alone without any supporting organizations, background or anything. I’m not pleased to be exploited by the corporations that didn’t even properly report about Fukushima when 311 took place. I demand them to take a contact with me BEFORE reading this site whatever the purpose is.

    Mochizuki Sama,

    Did you see this?

Thank you, so much for this information, which seems impossible to find anywhere else.

The darker blue line seems like it might be tide information – can anyone confirm this ?

I am surprised that TEPCO is not proudly reporting that the ground water being so high shows just how well its impermable wall is working.

Clearly the ‘ice wall’ stands no chance of freezing what is now effectivly a dirt filled lake, and not soil with ground water.

    I hardly try.

I know that you’re thinking badly about the news corporations. But I really insist you to talk to me. We can have an Interview or a written guest article on our website. The world needs to know more about Fukushima and your work on it. Let*s spread the word together. Please answer my request. It’s not THE media, there are still journalists out here searching the truth.

The “truth” of the matter is there are far more questions on the table then there are available answers, which is typical when traveling unchartered waters. On the one extreme, we have the fear-mongers with their unconfirmed reports of a “dead ocean”. On the other extreme is denial, with promises that everything is in order. Somewhere in the middle lies the truth. While it is not prudent to send the worlds finest athlete’s to a radioactive time bomb, it is also important not to damage the journalistic credibility of reporting the truth with unconfirmed apocalyptic claims of the end of humanity.
The truth is we will not live long enough to see an appropriate response to this disaster. That’s just the nature of the beast we are trying to contain. Should we just give up? Is it too late to mitigate the damage already done? Only time will tell, but certainly it will. Indications from the international community are that the official response has already been taken. We came to help evacuate, we got zapped with a cold shoulder and a heavy dose of radiation, and we left. I’m sorry.
