Radiation level offshore Fukushima river increased to be 95 times much as 1 month before

According to Tepco, the radiation level of sea ground soil jumped up by 950% from November to December in 2012.
The sampling location was 2km offshore of Ukedogawa in Namie machi, where is in 4~5 km north from Fukushima plant.
It was 25Bq/Kg in November, it was 2,370Bq/Kg in December.

Selon Tepco, le niveau de radioactivité du fond de la mer est monté de 950 % entre novembre et décembre 2012.
Le lieu d’échantillonnage était à 2 km au large d’Ukedogawa dans Namie machi, qui est à 4~5 km au nord de la centrale de Fukushima.

    If it jumped by 950% I thought it would mean it’s 9.5 times higher? No? Anyone?!
    Sorry to bother you with that guys and gals… I’m really not that good at maths!

    Yeah, 25 times 95 equals 2375 that would be 9500% increase.
    25 times 9.5 equals 237.5 that would be a 950% increase.

    It was 25Bq/Kg in November, it was 2,370Bq/Kg in December.

    If 25 is 100 % than 2,370 will be :

    ( 2,370 X 100 )/ 25 which is … 9,480 %

    I made worse errors ( see the square area calculations for CPM :)

    But we Know it was a Typing error ( missed a zero ) Not a miscalculations simply because in the article title Iori mentioned the correct ” 95 Times higher ” evaluation .

    Back from the diversion and to the core of the article , wasn’t that the time when Tepco reported faulty /disordered thermometers ( readings ) ?
    Where from did the wind was blowing that day ?
