[Latest Photo] Namie-machi back to nature

Japan Wild Bird Association visited Namie-machi in Fukushima and posted the latest photo on Twitter.

The area they visited is still under evacuation order. Japanese government is preparing to lift the evacuation order.

    IN REGARDS TO PEOPLE WHO ARE OFFENDED BY “DELETED POSTS”

    please realize proper comment boxes are often equipped by an “Auto-moderator” which is utilized to censor ‘offensive’ terminology. The problem with the Fukushima Diary page moderator is so far, as stated as a persistent bug, we do not know what triggers the moderation. I have personally requested to somehow turn this moderator off but it probably requires Administrative programming to deter this issue.

    please realize proper comment boxes are often equipped by an “Auto-moderator” which is utilized to censor ‘offensive’ terminology. The problem with the Fukushima Diary page moderator is so far, as stated as a persistent bug, we do not know what triggers the moderation. I have personally requested to somehow turn this moderator off but it probably requires Administrative programming to deter this issue.

    99% of the time if u cut & paste a link your message will be put on hold, & i imagine the site director does not know how to re-moderate these on his own so they just get thrown into the abyss. however so far i have noticed the 1% of people who can manage to cut & paste a whole hotlink onto here & process which is very unusual. this is perhaps some kind of IP ID blocking device that is overriding the moderator feature.

    when you post something, the page will refresh & it will show what you posted. however in fine print above your post you might see a “Your Comment Is Awaiting Moderation” & that means something went wrong. it can be anything.. its not even really your common offensive swear words it can range from anything to text format or just how the Auto-moderator is currently feeling.

    when you post & check down on the right hand side under RECENT POSTS and see your name has processed that means it has successfully posted. as mentioned, sometimes we dont know what got censored.. i have experimented with it for a bit but unusual stuff like ending the message with a grammatical error seems to trigger it as well. id you try to repost the same content youll be sent to a “Identical Post Detected” page & you will lose what you have written if you have not made a habit of cut & pasting your words onto a notepad as constant backup, as we know how it feels to lose paragraphs of thoughts only to have them white-washed by the page refresher.

    there was a previous issue where the technical problems here caused a case for the reader to be terribly offended. Please dont let this happen.. its not worth the mis-understanding.

    however, there is a limit where the actual site moderator, iori-san, will delete inappropriate comments, even in the CBOX.

    i for one do not like CBOX (the chatbox on the right side) cuz i have been traumatized dealing with countless TROLLS in that area so i just let those rants flush by.

    if you would like to leave a constructively permanent remark & not aimed at belittling ones knowledge, your thoughts are more than welcome.

      1. well ok.. seems name length doesnt matter but if changed from what email/name the site has registered as seems to cause a problem

  6. One more test..just to see..or for curiousity. Thank you for your efforts Ziro. My comments sometimes disappear..but its not the blog..its the software. So I just let it slide. No reason to get upset over this!

    summin up alot of whats been said, we have to realize iori-san isnt doing this for Charity. this is a serious situation that can potentially destroy whats left of Japan & thus causing a chain reaction across the world.

    people have a right to be insecure, afraid, paranoid more than ever… yet at the same time we all know it us, You & I, the people who could not stop The Nuclear Bomb from happening, that sacrificed our Freedom & Nature for petty gains like another vacation house or a sports car. we realize every bit in this mainframe owes something to Nuclear Energy.. we perhaps would not have developed so soon without it, but that doesnt justify the means. what the world needs now is a longview.. sadly the lesson will be learned in the 1000s of years it will take to Decommission Fukushima Daiichi & Daini Nuclear Plants. the begging for more nuclear energy, from the point of view of someone who knows what Drug Addiction is like, is no different than any hard substance junky.. humans are very very weak creatures when it comes to controlling will, temptation. & the drug of choice for the self-righteous citizen will forever be Uranium.. its the same dust & rock of guilty pleasures.. it accounts for just about every item in your living room.

    so embrace it. like what you call reality. the hardships. the heartbreaks. & one day u just might realize whats causing all of it.

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
