Tepco stopped planned blackouts for the threat of JP Gov “accuse Tepco of murder”

Even the reason of Tepco’s skipping planned blackouts was a lie. What was not false ?

Tepco started the planned blackouts after 311 for the power shortage, but they cancelled the first blackout planned for the morning of 3/14/2011. It was explained because they had enough power supply. However actually, it was because chief cabinet secretary, sub-chief cabinet secretary and minister of administrative reform threatened Tepco to accuse of murder.

It was recorded in the 150 hours video.

Tepco was planning to start the power outage from the morning of 3/14/2011 in a part of 23 wards of Tokyo and Isogo Yokohama city Kanagawa. It was supposed to be for the power shortage, announced in the evening of 3/13/2011.
However, it was cancelled because Edano, former chief cabinet secretary, Fukuyama, former chief cabinet secretary and Renho, minister of administrative reform threatened Tepco to accuse of murder if Tepco was aware that planned blackouts would cause deaths of people to use artificial respirator or heart-lung machine at home.

Fujimoto, vice president of Tepco talked about it in the TV meeting held early in the morning of 3/14/2011 and it was recorded in the 150 hours video.

After all, Tepco decided not to operate the planned blackouts but they concealed the fact that they were threatened by the government to explain why.
Tepco announced they cancelled the planned blackouts because they had enough power supply but it was a lie again.

About this site

This website updates the latest news about the Fukushima nuclear plant and also archives the past news from 2011. Because it's always updated and added live, articles, categories and the tags are not necessarily fitted in the latest format.
I am the writer of this website. About page remains in 2014. This is because my memory about 311 was clearer than now, 2023, and I think it can have a historical value. Now I'm living in Romania with 3 cats as an independent data scientist.
Actually, nothing has progressed in the plant since 2011. We still don't even know what is going on inside. They must keep cooling the crippled reactors by water, but additionally groundwater keeps flowing into the reactor buildings from the broken parts. This is why highly contaminated water is always produced more than it can circulate. Tepco is planning to officially discharge this water to the Pacific but Tritium is still remaining in it. They dilute this with seawater so that it is legally safe, but scientifically the same amount of radioactive tritium is contained. They say it is safe to discharge, but none of them have drunk it.
